Everything
you might
want to ask.
Registration, format, dress code, sponsorship, and what happens if it rains. If we missed something, email hello@resilientopen.com and we’ll add it.
Registration.
Is registration open?
Yes — registration is now open. Lock in your spot at resilientopen.com/register. Single golfers, foursomes, VIP foursomes, and social attendees (dinner only) all welcome. Previous year players got the heads-up by email when we went live; Founding Supporters Circle is limited to the first 40 golfers.
What does it cost to play?
Single golfer: $250. Foursome: $900 (save $100 vs buying four singles). VIP Foursome with premium perks: $1,400. Sponsorship tiers include golfer slots at every level — see the Sponsorship page.
Every ticket is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll get a receipt from the JRA Foundation within 24 hours of registration.
Can I register a team of 4 under one name?
Yes. Team captains register the team and add up to 3 additional players. Each player will be required to provide an email address before the day of the tournament — they’ll receive their own confirmation with check-in details and the day-of schedule.
I want to come to dinner but not play. Can I?
Yes. Social Attendee tickets are $100 per person and include the awards dinner, auction participation, and a seat at the table. Perfect for partners, spouses, and supporters who don’t golf.
What’s the refund policy?
More than 30 days before the event: full refund, no questions asked. 14–30 days out: 50% refund. Inside of 14 days: no refund, but your ticket becomes a tax-deductible donation to the JRA Foundation.
Format & play.
What’s the tournament format?
Four-person scramble, shotgun start at 1:00 PM. Every player on the team tees off, the team picks the best shot, all four play from there. Repeat until the ball is in the hole. Designed to be fun and fast, regardless of handicap.
Do I need to be a low handicap to play?
No. The scramble format means weaker players lean on stronger ones and vice versa. Hit your drive, pick up if you blade it, and take the best shot your team has. The day is built around camaraderie and giving, not scratch golf.
How many holes? How long will the round take?
Full 18 holes. Pace of play is typically 4.5 hours for a shotgun-start scramble. Beverage carts keep everyone moving.
Are there on-course contests?
Yes — six contests running throughout the round: $10,000 Hole-in-One, Closest-to-the-Pin, Straightest Drive (men’s and women’s), Longest Drive (men’s and women’s), a Putting Contest at the turn, and The Resilient Shot — a $50 closest-to-pin entry with a sliding pot where the further off the winning shot, the more goes to charity. Prizes are announced closer to the tournament.
Event day.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in opens at 11:00 AM. We recommend arriving by 11:30 to give yourself time to warm up on the range, have a coffee, and get to your cart. The shotgun is sharp at 1:00 PM — we can’t hold the start for late arrivals.
What’s the dress code?
On course: Collared shirt (polo), slacks or golf shorts, soft-spike golf shoes. No denim, no gym shorts, no tank tops. Dinner: Country-club casual. Keep the golf shirt on or change into something cleaner — whatever makes you feel good.
Is food included?
Halfway house stop at the turn — hotdog or hamburger — and a full buffet-style awards dinner after the round. Dietary restrictions are handled; let us know at registration. Lunch before the shotgun is not confirmed as included at this time.
Will there be a bar during golf?
Beverage carts circulate throughout the round with beer, hard seltzer, water, and soft drinks — covered by your drink tickets. Mixed drinks are available at an additional cost. The clubhouse bar is open for post-round drinks.
Can I bring my own clubs?
Yes — and you should. Rental access at the club is limited or unavailable depending on the day, so bring your own set if you have one.
Sponsorship.
How do I become a sponsor?
Visit the Sponsorship page for the full tier breakdown. All six tiers are currently available for 2026 — none are sold out. Email sponsors@resilientopen.com to claim a tier or discuss a custom arrangement.
Is sponsorship tax-deductible?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. The JRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You’ll receive a sponsorship acknowledgment letter and a tax receipt. Your CPA will know what to do with it.
Can we sponsor in-kind (product, services, venue)?
Yes, and we love this. Auction items, player gift bag contributions, services for the team — reach out to sponsors@resilientopen.com and we’ll talk. In-kind sponsors are recognized in the same ways cash sponsors are.
Giving & impact.
Where does the money go?
Net proceeds are split between the JRA Foundation — funding direct assistance grants to cancer patients for non-medical costs like transportation, lodging, parking, and meals — and Blood Cancer United, supporting blood cancer research, patient services, and advocacy. Every dollar is tracked and reported in a post-event impact summary.
What percentage goes to the charities?
Our target is 70% of gross revenue direct to the charities after event costs (venue, food, insurance, printing). The other 30% covers the actual day. As event sponsorships scale, more of the gross goes direct. The post-event impact report breaks it all down.
Can I donate without attending?
Yes. The Donate page takes direct contributions. Every dollar — $25, $250, $2,500 — goes into the same pot and is tracked the same way. No event ticket required.
Logistics & weather.
Where is The Architects Golf Club?
700 Strykers Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. About 75 minutes from Manhattan, 65 from Philadelphia, 40 from Lehigh Valley. Easy access from I-78.
What if it rains?
Golf plays rain or shine. Light rain is part of the deal — we’ll have towels and umbrellas available. Thunderstorms or dangerous conditions are a different story: The Architects has a weather protocol and we’ll follow it. If the round is canceled, the dinner and auction still happen, and your registration still counts as a contribution.
Is there parking at the club?
Yes — self-parking in the club lots. There is no valet service. Bag drop is available at the clubhouse entrance so you can unload your clubs before parking. Arrive by 11:30 AM if possible; the lots fill in closer to shotgun.
Is it accessible?
Yes. The clubhouse, dining room, and restrooms are fully accessible. If you or a guest needs specific accommodations, flag it on registration or email hello@resilientopen.com and we’ll make sure the day works for you.
Who do I contact if my question isn’t here?
Email hello@resilientopen.com and you’ll hear back within 24 hours. For sponsorship inquiries specifically, sponsors@resilientopen.com.
